Steve Lindsley serves as President of Grōv Technologies overseeing the long-term strategy and day to day execution of the companies. (Grov and Stellar Smart Energy Solutions.) Since joining Grōv in 2018, Steve has built relationships with the world’s leading Dairy / Beef and Feed producers creating a strong strategic foundation for growth. In 2019, he was asked to join the DMI, (Dairy Management Inc) Dairy 2030 advisory board. From May 2016 to April 2018 he served as Cablevision’s West Division VP in Los Angeles, where he led 10 western states including the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers’ media teams. From 2007 to 2016, Steve was Regional VP for Comcast Spotlight, a division of Comcast NBC Universal, and prior to that Steve was the president of KSL Television, the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City.
Steve has had extensive community and charity work serving on the Board of the Guadalupe Center, Co-Chair of Utah’s Promise-the Utah centric Volunteer effort ( an affiliate of Americas Promise), Co-Chair of Family Now with former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, Chairman of the Drug Abuse and Anti-violence coordinating committee appointed by Governor Mike Leavitt and Executive director of the “Light of the World” Cultural event held during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic games. Steve is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he was a member of the 1984 National Champion Football team and the starting Quarterback in 1986. Steve is married to Sabrina with six children and four grandchildren.
Mark Stott serves as Vice President of Stellar and is a founding partner of Grōv Technologies. He leads the rollout of LED lighting systems for commercial and plant growing applications. From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Stott served as president and founder of Circle Design Technology, which focused on the development of LED lighting technology. Prior to this, Mr. Stott was the CFO and owner of First Choice Home Health Care, a privately-owned health care company. Mr. Stott is a founding member of Operation Underground Railroad, a non-profit organization formed to rescue children trapped in sex trafficking . Mr. Stott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
Bret Millar serves as Vice President of Stellar, Grōv’s Vice President of Technology, and is a founding partner of Grōv. Mr. Millar invented the core hardware and software technology foundation for Stellar and Grōv’s platforms and received and filed over 76 patents. From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Millar served as Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Circle Design Technology, which focused on the development of LED lighting technology. Prior to that, Mr. Millar was the founder and owner of MC Labs, a software and hardware development company for LED technologies.
Paul Whitlock serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing operations, manufacturing and supply chain. Mr. Whitlock joined Grōv Technologies in January 2019. Since joining Grōv he has guided the development of the Olympus Tower Farm from the early alpha concepts to full-scale production. From 1995 to 2018 he worked for Intel in various operations roles, and later as Senior Director of Manufacturing, Planning and Supply Chain. At Intel he led the development of two major chip fabrication plants in Asia. Mr. Whitlock holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Utah.
Chris Ericson has lead the finance group at Grōv Technologies as VP Grōv Finance since May of 2019. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Ericson served as vice president of internal audit, overseeing the global internal audit activities for Nu Skin. Mr. Ericson came to Nu Skin in 2015 after 11 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their professional services group in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Tokyo, and Florham Park. In his final 2 years with PwC, Mr. Ericson was a senior manager in PwC’s National Quality Organization consulting on the firm’s largest critical accounting, reporting and auditing issues. Mr. Ericson holds a bachelor’s and Master’s of Accounting degrees from Brigham Young University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah.
Clayton Jones is Vice President and General Counsel of Grōv. Prior to joining Grōv, he served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Nu Skin, where he worked closely with the board and management committee, sales and technology teams and global legal team. Before joining Nu Skin, Clayton practiced law at the international law firm Dorsey & Whitney, where he focused on corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, formation of private equity and venture capital funds, private and public debt and equity financings and SEC reporting and regulatory matters. Clayton received a BS in economics from Brigham Young University, and JD and MBA degrees from the University of Oregon. Outside of Grōv, Clayton enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and exploring the beautiful mountains and deserts of Utah.
VICE PRESIDENT|Business Development
Joe Huston serves as Vice President of Business Development for Grōv Technologies. Since joining the company in July 2019, Joe and his team have laid the groundwork for exponential growth by developing relationships with industry leaders in each business vertical, adding key distributors, and driving revenue growth of more than 300%. Mr. Huston has an extensive background in the agriculture industry and has worked with many of the leading Ag producers in the California Central Valley. From April 2016 to July 2019, he was Vice President – General Manager of SIG SAUER, a global firearms manufacture. From 2013 to December 2015, he was CEO of Cybergun US Group: Soft Air USA, Palco Sports, Spartan Imports. Prior to this he was the Soft Air USA Walmart Team Leader from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Huston also served as president of TotalFlare from 2008 to 2010, an advanced LED road flare solution for emergency services professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah.
SENIOR DIRECTOR|PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Brandon Palmer is the Senior Director of Product Development and GrōResearch Center Operations with responsibility for product development creating new and innovative products and conducting the experiments which produce the data used by Grōv scientists. He served Nu Skin as Director of Program & Project Management for Product Development (Personal Care & Pharmanex). He was with Siemens Government Services Directing the Transportation Security Administration Integrated Logistics Program. He has managed Business Development for Garrett Electronics and was Senior Project Manager for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Committee. Brandon holds an MBA in Operations Management & Information Systems Integration from Utah State University, and a BS in Business Management (Finance & Marketing) from Utah Valley State. He is board certified in Project Management, Program Management and Agile.
Tera Sunder serves as the Human Resource lead for Grōv. Her expertise lies Human Resources and Employee Engagement and comes from a long, successful business and consulting career. She has held senior leadership positions with TGIF, Starbucks, Café Rio, Nelson Labs and CR Bard. For the past three years she has helped companies communicate goals to all levels of the organizations and increase Employee Engagement and company profits through her Success Tree process. Her work has also been recognized with the companies she has worked with receiving in both National and State “Best Places To Work “awards. She has also been a member of many boards, Zions Bank Woman’s Financial Advisory Board, Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Immigration Reform Committee, TruClinic, Centro De La Familia to name a few. Tera holds degrees in: Psychology, Criminal Justice and Human Resource Management.

Brent Petersen serves as Director of Marketing & Communications for Grōv Technologies. Mr. Petersen has established the company marketing and communications platform and leads sales operations. From 2009 to 2017 he was the Comcast Spotlight Mountain Region Field Marketing Manager. From 1989 to 2000 Mr. Petersen was Vice President of New Media & Photography for the ABC Television Network. In the early 1990’s he led ABC’s digital communications outreach to newspapers and magazines in collaboration with the Associated Press. He developed promotional strategies and tools for launching news, sports and entertainment programming and pioneered the use of CD-ROM press kits prior to launching ABC.COM/MediaNet. From 1979 to 1988 he served as the Director of Photography for Parade Magazine. Mr. Petersen holds a bachelor’s degree from the Brigham Young University in Communications.
